Arts Council of the Valley (ACV) features Kentucky artist Anna Marie Pavlik in a July exhibition at Smith House Galleries. Showcasing printmaking, etching, linoleum cut, and monoprint works, Evocative Etching opens with a July 7 reception during First Fridays of the Valley, 5 to 7 pm. Sponsored by Estland, the reception offers a chance for the public to visit with the artist, enjoy live folk and Americana music by Jane Cox, and sample light refreshments. more

Furious Flower Poetry Center is thrilled to announce the second exhibition of the Furious Flower Broadside Gallery, Black Women, Black Spring for the Arts Council of the Valley's First Friday tour on Friday, April 7 from 5 to 7 p.m. We are excited to welcome members of the community to see our new exhibit curated by Furious Flower Graduate Assistant Jessica Carter.
