Arts Council of the Valley (ACV) features Kentucky artist Anna Marie Pavlik in a July exhibition at Smith House Galleries. Showcasing printmaking, etching, linoleum cut, and monoprint works, Evocative Etching opens with a July 7 reception during First Fridays of the Valley, 5 to 7 pm. Sponsored by Estland, the reception offers a chance for the public to visit with the artist, enjoy live folk and Americana music by Jane Cox, and sample light refreshments. more
Join us for a murder mystery set in the 1950s! It's 1956 in Winter Springs, a nice town where the happiest families live. At least, that's what the residents want you to believe. Down the road is Forestville, a town that is the complete opposite of Winter Springs. The two towns have had a feud for decades. It's the night of the Sock Hop and the teens are excited. A student is found dead at Lovers' Lane and all the teens around town are brought to the dance to discover who killed her and why. more
