Blue Streaks and Future Rocktown Band Join Forces to Open for Levitt AMP Harrisonburg Music Series

Wednesday evening, Harrisonburg and Rockingham’s high school bands joined forces, donned their matching tie-dye T-shirts and marched onto the Turner Pavilion lawn. With approximately 1,400 community members in attendance, the marching bands kicked off the first show of HDR’s Levitt AMP Harrisonburg Music Series. more

He has a passion for writing and performing music and has been playing guitar and piano for over 20 years. He served as a producer on his solo album, Songs in Pop Minor, as well as VHS's album, Songs of Wood and Stone. Bobby is an Associate Professor of Business Analytics in the College of Business at James Madison University. more

Sages of Future Soul at Clementine Cafe

The Sages of Future Soul is a 20+ piece big band that performs modern arrangements of contemporary jazz, funk and soul standards. Co-founded in 2020, the ensemble has gone on to be named a Semi-Finalist in the 2023 Petrichor Music Competition Large Ensemble Division and has featured artists such as Alexa Tarantino, Justin Kauflin and Dr. Chloe Swindler in their recordings. The group has received high praise from members of Hiatus Kaiyote and Moonchild as well as featured in articles from AllAboutJazz.com. The Sages of Future Soul look forward to returning to Clementine Cafe in August 2023 and releasing their first commercial album Live at Clementine Cafe. more
