Arts Council of the Valley (ACV) features Kentucky artist Anna Marie Pavlik in a July exhibition at Smith House Galleries. Showcasing printmaking, etching, linoleum cut, and monoprint works, Evocative Etching opens with a July 7 reception during First Fridays of the Valley, 5 to 7 pm. Sponsored by Estland, the reception offers a chance for the public to visit with the artist, enjoy live folk and Americana music by Jane Cox, and sample light refreshments. more

James August Warsing Jr., also known as TJ from “TJ’s Dermagraphics” here in downtown Harrisonburg, is excited to announce a change in his field of work. After over 50 years of working in the tattoo industry, he is teaming up alongside his wife Bernadette Moreno-Krause and friend Carson William Rinker to start their own specialized business in the memorial industry. more
