Arts Council of the Valley (ACV) announces the eighth annual artVISION: Rockingham County Public Schools Youth Art Month Show. The Smith House Galleries exhibition opens on March 1, during First Fridays of the Valley, with a 5-7 pm reception sponsored by Rockingham Educational Foundation, Inc. Arts Council of the Valley (ACV) features Kentucky artist Anna Marie Pavlik in a July exhibition at Smith House Galleries. Showcasing printmaking, etching, linoleum cut, and monoprint works, Evocative Etching opens with a July 7 reception during First Fridays of the Valley, 5 to 7 pm. Sponsored by Estland, the reception offers a chance for the public to visit with the artist, enjoy live folk and Americana music by Jane Cox, and sample light refreshments. more
