Arts Council of the Valley (ACV) celebrates the opening of TWO new exhibitions at Smith House Galleries on April 5, with a reception 5-7 pm during First Fridays of the Valley! "Grown, Built, Seen" by Trotter Hardy and "The World of Black and White" by Saul Harris both feature detailed photography from all across the globe. Local poetry group First Monday Poets share their own work inspired by four photographs from each exhibition during the opening reception, where you can visit with the artists, enjoy a live poetry reading, and sample light refreshments! more

SAVE THE DATE #2: May 7th, 6:30 pm: There will be a reception at the Library to open the “Wild and Wonderful” show, an exhibit of some of the artwork created by children under the leadership of OASIS teachers. This program was funded by a grant from The Community Foundation. more
February 27-March 27: The Water Street Window will have a display of Frank Burdell’s blown glass. This art form is unusual due to its demanding physical and artistic needs. Frank joined OASIS in December, and we are delighted to showcase his work. more
