Test your spelling skills (or cheer on your favorite spellers) at our Adult Spelling Bee fundraiser, hosted by Restless Moons Brewing. Whether you're competing or just enjoying the fun, all proceeds support MRL's programs and services. All ages are welcome to attend; registration ($5 donation) limited to 20 adults. Come spell, sip non-alcoholic or alcoholic beverages, and support your library! Teens and adults - join the Central Library for a two-part writing workshop on developing a short story, led by Judith Dreyer! After the workshop, participants are encouraged to write a short story (1,500-3,000 words) over the next month, using helpful handouts provided by Judith. We'll use our chosen book for Big Read, "Homegoing," as our prompt and inspiration! more
