Smith House Galleries

The Darrin-McHone Arts Gallery and Rhapsody Room are located in the historic Smith House in downtown Harrisonburg. Since 2009, the Arts Council has presented over 65 month-long exhibitions in these gallery spaces. The Flats at City Exchange

The City Exchange was built in 1908 and was the largest produce production facility on the East Coast at the time. It was converted to lofts and flats in 2006. This historic building is outfitted with bamboo floors, stainless steel appliances, 8-ft. ceilings, Italian stairs, and exposed brick and beams that remind residents of the rich history of this 100 year-old building. more
