Sancar Flats at West Rock

Sancar Flats at West Rock offers one- and two-bedroom apartments on the north end of downtown. The Metro Sancar Building, originally built in the 1930s, has housed many textile manufacturers over the years. It was purchased in 2005 by a Harrisonburg-based investment group and converted to upscale apartments that range in size from 600 to over 1,700 square feet. more

The Flats at City Exchange

The City Exchange was built in 1908 and was the largest produce production facility on the East Coast at the time. It was converted to lofts and flats in 2006. This historic building is outfitted with bamboo floors, stainless steel appliances, 8-ft. ceilings, Italian stairs, and exposed brick and beams that remind residents of the rich history of this 100 year-old building. more
