Civil War Orientation Center

The Harrisonburg Rockingham Civil War Orientation Center is the third in a series of centers located throughout the eight-county National Historic District in the legendary Shenandoah Valley. Located in the historic Hardesty-Higgins House, the center opened in fall of 2009 making it easier for visitors to explore the Civil War sites throughout the area, including Harrisonburg, Rockingham County, and parts of southern Page and northern Augusta counties more

Massanutten Regional Library

Founded in 1928, Massanutten Regional Library has been an integral resource for the central Shenandoah Valley for over 80 years. The library is conveniently located next door to the children's museum. more

Rocktown Gift Shoppe, located inside the Hardesty-Higgins House Visitor Center, is your destination for local gifts and souvenirs. The shop offers a diverse selection of Virginia’s Finest products, including jams and jellies, syrups, honey, spices, sauces, soaps, and more. It’s here you’ll find a bounty of Virginia is For Lovers merchandise, including adult and youth T-shirts, mugs, bags, water bottles, magnets and other products. The gift shoppe is also home to hiking trail books and maps, as well as Civil War memorabilia, postcards, jewelry, Virginia candies and peanuts, Route 11 Potato Chips, lavender products, and a variety of books written by and about local people. more

Shenandoah Yoga

Shenandoah Yoga offers both regular and prenatal ongoing yoga classes as well as private yoga classes and private yoga therapy sessions. Drop-ins are welcome on a first-come, first-served basis, except pre-registration is required for weekday morning, prenatal & gentle yoga classes as well as special series classes or workshops. more

Valley Turnpike Museum
