Winter Wonderfest Event Parking

GENERAL EVENT PARKING

There will be ample event parking in downtown Harrisonburg for Winter Wonderfest, including additional private lots open to the public on Saturday, December 7.

Public parking is available all day in the municipal parking lots listed below and in additional Saturday Event Parking lots indicated with red markers on the interactive map on this page. Street parking is also available on Liberty Street between Grattan Street and Warren Street.

Time restrictions in municipal parking spaces will not be enforced during the event. For example, you may park in two-hour municipal spaces for a longer period of time. Please adhere to any posted tow-away zones, accessible parking spaces, and Restricted Parking areas.

Municipal Parking Lots & Decks:

There are many free public parking lots and garage spaces available without time or permit restrictions during our festival. Refer to this map for parking locations and use the list below for additional event-day parking restrictions and recommendations for ways to access the lots and garages around street closures.

• The 90 N Main St. Parking lot is open and accessible from Federal Street, which can be accessed via E Market Street (turn right off of E Market Street onto Federal Street).
• Newman Ave Parking Lot is open and accessible from Mason Street at Newman Avenue.
• The E Water Street Lot is open and accessible from Mason Street at E Water Street (exit on Federal Street)
• The Hardesty Higgins Parking Lot is open and accessible from Mason Street at Franklin Street.
• The Elizabeth Street Parking Deck is open and accessible from Mason Street at Elizabeth and E Wolfe Streets
• The North Liberty Street, Liberty Park, and Clark and Bradshaw Lots are open and accessible from Liberty Street.
• The Water Street Deck is accessible from Liberty Street. Access the second level from Liberty Street. Access the lower level from W Bruce Street and exit from W Water Street onto Liberty Street.
• The Turner Pavilion Parking lot is open and accessible from Liberty Street. Parking is prohibited in the parallel spaces directly adjacent to the Pavilion structure and grassy lot, but the rest of the parking lot is open and accessible.
