Much of the inspiration behind Magnolia’s Taco & Tequila Bar comes from co-owner Claudia Kay’s heritage. Born in Jalisco, Mexico (known as the birthplace of tequila), Claudia put together a menu and drinks list from her hometown with her husband and co-owner Chris.
Here you will find 15 different types of tacos, with both vegan and gluten-free options, in addition to burritos, salads, and appetizers. Chorizo mac n cheese, tequila lime wings, and Carne Asada cheese fries are favorites, along with street food specialty – street corn – made with lime crema, cotija cheese, and chile powder. Tequila is popular item on the drink menu, which you can sample individually, in a cocktail (especially in a margarita), or via a tequila flight. For non-alcoholic beverages, enjoy a Mexican Coke (made with sugar, not corn syrup) or fruity jarritos.
You can sit at the bar downstairs or grab a table upstairs or enjoy outdoor dining on the side patio or rooftop (don’t miss out on watching the sunset during dinner). This historic building features exposed brick walls and booths set under glowing hanging lights.
