Owned and operated by mother-daughter duo, Heritage Bakery & Café is truly a passion project. They run an intimate café with a 200-square foot kitchen filled with local art and a collection of coffee mugs and plates in mismatched vintage patterns. There is a small outdoor seating area surrounded by gardens that make the café feel as if it’s tucked away in the French countryside.
Heritage bakers constantly come up with a new selection of baked goods so watch their social media posts for tempting images and descriptions. Each day you can find an array of macarons, cakes, sticky buns, cookies, bars, muffins, and more. They even carry some vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free options. Enjoy savory items, too, for breakfast and lunch such as homemade granola bowls, waffles, soups, sandwiches, quiche, and seasonal salads.
Call ahead for special orders for all occasions and catering or sign for cake decorating and “how to make Italian macarons” workshops. Keep an eye out, too, for Sunday Teas held throughout the year where guests can customize their menu by choosing from four different “tea packages.”
