Have fun learning the basics of stand up, joke writing and comedic storytelling in this interactive fun workshop. Tune into your unique funny bone and learn skills to be funnier at social gatherings, storytelling, speaking engagements, writing and more. Learn how to develop a 5-minute set in this 4-week course and perform in the student graduation showcase at Hotel Madison. Classes are on Sundays, 2p-5pm: October 30, November 6, 13 and 20. Student Graduation Showcase is on Saturday, December 3 at 5:00pm. All workshops & showcase are at Hotel Madison. Your Instructors are from X2 Comedy: Dawn Davis Womack, Comedian, Producer & Podcast Host of the Virginia Is For Laughers, a podcast about all things non-hiking in the Shenandoah Valley and Chris Womack, JMU’s Funny Professor!
