Eunoia Theatre will present William Mastrosimone‘s The Woolgatherer, running Thursday, May 1 through Sunday, May 4 at 7:30 p.m. each evening at The Cellar at Liberty Street Mercantile, 76. W. Gay Street, Harrisonburg.
The Woolgatherer unravels the story of Rose, a shy general store clerk whose life centers around reveries and daydreams in her dreary Philadelphia apartment. Enter Cliff, a hard working, rough, and witty truck driver who is just as starved for love as she is. The intimate setting of The Cellar provides a fly-on-the-wall experience for this part-comedic, part-dramatic, but always affecting yarn about two lost and damaged people who struggle to connect.
Kerri Hewett plays the role of Rose, Michael Trocchia plays Cliff, and Garret Lee Milton directs; with Becca Stehle as Stage Manager.
