The Sages of Future Soul is a 20+ piece big band that performs modern arrangements of contemporary jazz, funk and soul standards. Co-founded in 2020, the ensemble has gone on to be named a Semi-Finalist in the 2023 Petrichor Music Competition Large Ensemble Division and has featured artists such as Alexa Tarantino, Justin Kauflin and Dr. Chloe Swindler in their recordings. The group has received high praise from members of Hiatus Kaiyote and Moonchild as well as featured in articles from AllAboutJazz.com. The Sages of Future Soul look forward to returning to Clementine Cafe in August 2023 and releasing their first commercial album Live at Clementine Cafe.
