Suz Hues presents “Painting with Thread: An Introduction to Embroidery.” Participants will create a sampler of six stitches which they will then use as a reference guide to produce an original work of art on an 8″ hoop. There will be two 90 minute sessions.
Session One (January 4): Learn six embroidery stitches and complete sampler.
Session Two (January 11): Create drawing and transfer to cloth; begin embroidery project. Participants will enjoy wine and cheese refreshments during each session.
