Enjoy all-you-can-eat Mexi Plates at The Little Grill every Tuesday from 5-9 pm.
In 1992, Josephina, a native of Mexico, came to work at The Little Grill and taught the crew to make the food that is served every Tuesday.
Josephina taught us to press our own tortillas, cook them on the grill, stuff them with spiced potatoes and black beans, then deep-fry them. When they were fried, she stuffed them with cabbage, radish, pico de gallo, and Parmesan cheese (there’s a story.) These look like tacos but Josephina called them quesadillas (no one is clear why 🙂
Additionally the plate consisted of a cheddar cheese enchilada made with house-made mole, a yellow corn tortilla crunchy potato “roll-up”, refried pinto beans, and seasoned brown basmati rice.
We have made the addition of delicious pickled veggies to top the original plate! It is naturally vegetarian, and can easily be made Vegan and/or Gluten Free
The meal is all-you-can-eat so when you reorder, you can ask for any combination of the above.
We’ll hope to see you on Tuesday!
