“I Can Paint My Own Flowers” Watercolor + Pastels Workshop with Mary Hairston
THE PROJECT
-Two 5×7″ mixed media flower paintings
-Mary will provide two 5×7″ pre-drawn flower templates on watercolor paper (or you are welcome to draw out our own) for you to experiment with mixing watercolors and layering with chalk pastels.
-All skill levels welcome to come and enjoy.
-One draft cider or nonalcoholic drink included with ticket

MEET THE ARTIST
Mary is a Harrisonburg artist and small business owner who works in a variety of mediums. She often layers pastels over loose watercolor shapes to create depth and texture. You can visit her website for more of her work at
