IONNA – (RVA) CYBORG SYNTHPOP. Created by Soraya Silene, a singer-songwriter, and producer. IONNA’s driving melodies move between being danceable and other times, ambient, calling the listener to the universal and collective. IONNA is narrative-driven, based initially on a fantasized character and a comic sketch. You can hear the influences of Kate Bush, The Cure, and St.Vincent.
