We are super excited to announce our next group Art Show in the North Wing Gallery at Sage Bird Ciderworks to premier August 4, 2023 and run throughout the month of August!
“Greetings from Harrisonburg” is an art show that celebrates the people, places, and perspectives that make Harrisonburg such a special place to live. Artists will share an original piece of art that represents what Harrisonburg what means to them, whether that is a building, a business, a landmark, a feeling, a dish from a restaurant, etc!
OPENING ARTIST RECEPTION
-Friday, August 4, 5-8pm with complimentary charcuterie
-meet & greet the artists participating in the show
-postcard sales begin!
-Live music tbd
FRIENDLY CITY COMPETITION
-Vote Friday at the opening for an Audience Choice winner
-Artist Choice & Juror Choice will be revealed at the opening
POSTCARD FUNDRAISER
-Packs of postcards of the art will be available for purchase at Sage Bird Ciderworks
-A portion of proceeds will go to support NewBridges, a local nonprofit that serves individuals and families immigrating to our Harrisonburg community
