It’s that time of year again, time to be with family and enjoy big meal. This year spend part of Friday after Thanksgiving enjoying a recent Harrisonburg tradition. Join the 5th annual downtown trash cleanup! Green Friday is a time to give back to your community and the environment. We will be picking up debris from along sidewalks, roadways, and the stream-bed. Keep Harrisonburg Beautiful this year!
Earth Day Every Day’s 5th annual Green Friday will be held Friday November 29th from 1-3PM. There will be a sign-up table set up at the ice-house parking lot outside Pale Fire Brewery, 217 N. Liberty St. We will provide trash bags, grabbers, and guidance on where to go. Participants should dress appropriately for the weather wear proper footwear and protective gloves, and don’t forget to bring water. If you don’t have gloves we can provide them at the information booth.
