Description
Inspired by our knitting “Building Blocks” classes, we are offering a similar series of classes for crocheters!
We will offer 12 total classes (one each month), and you can pick and choose which ones you attend. We will teach you a new technique during each class:
1. Single crochet (regular, BLO, and FLO) and slip stitch
2. Half double, double, and triple crochet
3. Baubles
4. Decreases and increases
5. Granny square
6. Blanket stitch
7. Waffle stitch
8. Crocodile stitch
9. Back loop chevron stitch
10. Twist stitch
11. Magic loop
12. Crochet applique
Starting with the basic crochet stitches, your confidence will grow as you progress through increasingly advanced techniques. At the end of the series, you’ll have new confidence in your crocheting and 12 unique crocheted squares that you can seam together into a blanket, pillow, vest, poncho…the sky’s the limit!.
What you will need for this class:
– 1 skein of worsted weight yarn (at least 140 yards)
– Size H crochet hook
Class Policies
We require a minimum of 3 registrations for all events. If we cancel due to insufficient registrations, we will provide you with a full refund.
If you register for an event and are unable to attend, let us know as soon as possible. If you cancel more than 48 hours beforehand, we will provide you with a full refund. If you cancel less than 48 hours before the event, we can transfer your registration to a later date if one is available, but we will not be able to provide a refund.
