Be one of the first to taste Butts Up!, Sage Bird Ciderworks’ take on summer in a can! Come celebrate the release of the raspberry hop session cider, named after the friendly “Butts Up!” call on the river to warn others of rocks below. This event will serve as a fundraiser for Blacks Run Cleanup, so let’s come together to keep our waterway clean!
Plenty of beverages will be offered at the Butts Up! release party: 10 hand-crafted Sage Bird ciders (served on tap!), Cider Slush, frozen lemonade, and of course, Butts Up! Beer and non-alcoholic cider will also be available, as well as summer spritz cocktails. Outskirts Food Truck will serve hot dogs, corndogs, fries & more until 10 P.M.
And don’t worry, there will be no shortage of entertainment! Games will include Blacks Run tRIVERia questions with the Harrisonburg Public Works crew to play PLINKO for giveaways, the Rubber Ducky Pool Grab game, a Coin Toss fundraiser, and cornhole. Live music begins with Paracosm at 5 P.M., followed by Bloo Lagoon at 6:30 P.M.
There will be opportunities to donate directly to Blacks Run Cleanup to enter giveaways & support our local waterway. A portion of sales this evening will be donated to help our local Blacks Run Cleanup.
