Beginner Sock Class

Want to learn how to knit socks? Then this is the class for you! All you need to know is how to cast on, knit, and purl–we will teach you the rest. Written instructions will be provided.

Supplies you’ll need:

• 400 yards of fingering/sock weight yarn (one-skein options include Malabrigo Sock or Ultimate Sock, Kim Dyes Yarn Sourdough Sock, etc.)
• stitch marker
• 2 size 3 circular needles (lengths can be different as long as at least 16″ long)
• darning needle

Schedule:

This class will meet Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm, January 18, 25, and February 1 and 8.

Hand knit socks truly are the most comfortable!
