Downtown Business COVID-19 Updates

Read HDR’s statement on the COVID-19 pandemic, a guide to what you can do if you’re feeling powerless and want to help, and updates on what HDR is doing to support our downtown community at downtownharrisonburg.org/resilience.

Follow CDC guidelines at all times. Stay at least six feet away from other individuals while out in public, avoid crowds, and do not join gatherings or spaces with more than ten people present. Wear your mask at all times except when actively eating or drinking, do not move tables, limit your group size, and follow all posted protocol at all times.

• Journey Counseling Ministries – For those who wish, face-to-face meetings in the Journey offices will continue, with all neccessary precautions and sanitary procedures observed. • Ray Carr Tires – Considered an essential business, Ray Carr Tires is open Monday-Friday 9am-4pm. They are sanitizing their facility, and providing their staff with personal protective equipment.
• Rockingham County Circuit Court – Effective March 18, 2020 through April 26, 2020, the Clerk’s Office will be closed to the public. A reduced staff will be working 8:30am-12pm Monday-Friday for ‘Mission Critical’ services. Click here for more information in regard to service delivery.
