HDR is inviting community members, organizations, and businesses with an innovative idea for making downtown an attraction to apply for a grant to help us achieve this goal. Proposals are expected to vary from physical additions to public spaces - art installations and parklets - to events that would highlight the unique character of Harrisonburg, to anything that encourages connections and draws people throughout our vibrant downtown. We encourage you to find community partners, get feedback from the community on your idea, and most of all, get creative!
