Join us for our first Voices of the Shenandoah event, featuring local stories and music shared by community members about the Shenandoah River, to be held at Pale Fire Brewing Company in Harrisonburg, VA from 7 to 10pm next Thursday, July 15th!
The evening will kick off with some of our story and song submissions about the river, and will be followed by an evening of live musical entertainment. Our featured artist for the evening is Joshua Vana.
Joshua Vana is a songwriter, general songster, multi-instrumentalist, and environmental and social justice activist currently residing in Albemarle County, Virginia. After touring and recording with Nashville songwriter Nora Jane Struthers for five years, he is now the co-director of ARTivism Virginia, providing a supported connection between artists and activists in the fight against the expansion of fossil fuel infrastructure in the region.
Grab a brew and some friends, and we’ll see you there!
