Our October show will feature the artwork of OASIS artist, Edda Duff. First Friday will be October 1st from 5-8. The show can be viewed at OASIS, and on our Facebook page under EVENTS.
A few words from the artist about “Faces of Felt”:
“My name is Edda Duff and I have been a member with OASIS Gallery for 5 years, which has given me the opportunity to show my work.
Felting is a craft with an ancient history, and it can be fashioned in many different ways. With “Faces of Felt” I have explored several of these techniques covering a spectrum from basic, simple methods, to the more complex. In addition to various wool rovings, I have incorporated plant based dyes, silk, paper and other embellishments.”
