Elevate your knitting skillset by learning how to do stranded colorwork. In this class, you will learn how to read knitting charts.
What skills should you already have?
Before signing up for this class, you should be comfortable with the knit and purl stitch. We will teach you how to do the rest!
What skills will you learn?
Colorwork, basic decrease stitches (SSK and K2TOG), and picking up stitches.
What supplies will you need?
– Three colors of worsted weight yarn (130yds of the main color, 90yds of one contrasting color, and 40 yards of a second contrasting color): we have options ranging from $19.50-$25.50 for all three colors!
– Size US 6 double-pointed needles, Flexiflip needles, or circular needles (using magic loop)
How will the class work?
We will have two classes that last 2 hours each time. The dates are Saturday, November 6th and Saturday, November 13 from 1pm-3pm.
