Downtown’s deli, LoLa Mo’s, is named after the three friends who opened it together: Logan Strawderman (Lo), Lauren Penrod (La), and Mollie Randa (Mo). Seeing a need for more “grab–and–go” eateries, they modeled their after the best of New York Delicatessens and European–style gourmet markets.
Here you can find a variety of sandwiches to choose from, including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. Look for their featured sandwich on social media so you can try something not usually on the menu – or create your own from a variety of fresh meats, cheeses, dressings (what’s their house dressing?) and fixings (from housemade cabbage slaw to pineapple). Slow roasted pastrami is king here – if you are lucky, you might walk by to catch a whiff of it in the barbeque outside. Rotisserie chicken as well as Not in the mood for a sandwich – check out the homemade soups, sides, and an array of desserts – all made on-site. Don’t miss the candied pastrami, cheesecake, or black-and-white cookies.
