Smith House Galleries

The Darrin-McHone Arts Gallery and Rhapsody Room are located in the historic Smith House in downtown Harrisonburg. Since 2009, the Arts Council has presented over 65 month-long exhibitions in these gallery spaces. Exhibition openings take place on the first Friday of the month in conjunction with First Fridays Downtown Harrisonburg program. more

The Little Grill Collective

The Little Grill has been a restaurant in Harrisonburg since the 1940’s, and up until now has continued to work in the direction of localizing their ingredients and cooking food with a conscience. The Collective focuses on vegetarian and vegan meals such as an array of omelets, several varieties of homemade pancakes, breakfast sandwiches, and other breakfast specials, with ethnically inspired foods ranging from Mexican, Mediterranean, and American. The Little Grill also serves meat items, such as their famous local free range chicken burrito for lunch. more
