Court House Grounds - Community members who are interested in hosting an event on the Rockingham County Court House grounds, email Linda Zirkle for information. Requests for the Court House grounds does not include street closures around Court Square. For full Court Square closure requests, visit the special event request page.
Turner Pavilion - Home to the Harrisonburg Farmers Market, the Turner Pavilion is a great location to host an event. Interested in reserving the Pavilion? Please contact Katie Yount for information. Denton Pocket Park & Liberty Park - The Denton Pocket Park is located on Main Street in between Ten Thousand Villages and the Wine Brothers Building. Liberty Park is in the north end of downtown at the corner of West Wolfe Street and North Liberty Street directly behind the Public Safety Building.
Asbury Methodist Church - Originally erected in 1913, this historic church offers a variety of spaces for rent to the community. Anyone interested in using the space will have to file a Room Request form to be approved by the Trustees. Email Hannah Rowan for more information.
Bella Luna - Harrisonburg's first farm-to-table pizza restaurant, Bella Luna offers a comfortable, private space that fits up to 120 people with a flat screen TV with AV compatibility. Blessed Sacrament Church - An active presence in the downtown community, Blessed Sacrament welcomes events in a variety of spaces, particularly for groups that have charitable or educational purposes. Those groups can rent a space for free (donations accepted for utilities). Space is always limited, so try to reserve the space in advance. For information, email Martha Moyers.
Blue Ridge Architects Conference Room - This bright, modern, professional conference space can fit up to 25 people. It features a kitchen area, two large TVs that can stream from a laptop, and a Polycom speaker for teleconferencing. There is no charge for day-time use; community members who wish to reserve the room after 5pm will be charged a nominal fee. Email Melanie Eby for information.
Capital Ale House - Have a special celebration coming up? The Capital Ale House has two spaces available that have capacity of 40 and 175 people. AV equipment is provided. A $500 deposit is required along with a $1250 food and beverage minimum on the weekends and $750 minimum on the weekdays. For information, contact Dana Carson.
Church of the Incarnation - Committed to downtown Harrisonburg, Church of the Incarnation allows community groups to reserve the sanctuary and foyer for $120 a day. This charge covers for wear and tear, utilities, and janitorial services. Contact the parish administrator, Kelly Ostergren.
Explore More - A children's museum full of imagination and creativity, Explore More offers a multipurpose room that can comfortably fit 20 people. Events are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis scheduled a month in advance. This family-friendly space also offers a variety of themed birthday parties. A $25 non-refundable deposit must be made 48 hours in advance. For inquiries, contact Explore More or visit staff at the museum.
The Lounge at Clementine Cafe - This unique lounge is available for private and public events until 9pm every day with an 80 person capacity and 50 for seated buffet. Tech capabilities include 72" TV, DVD/VHS player, PowerPoint, surround-sound speakers, microphones, audio mixer for live music, and DJ. Clementine Cafe provides delectable catering for casual and formal events. A full bar is available with handcrafted cocktails, beers, and wine. To book an event, contact Kim Joyce.
Massanutten Regional Library - The meeting rooms at the regional library are open to the public for meetings and programs. On the library website under "How do I," click on the tab to reserve a meeting space. The guidelines and application are listed there. Contact library staff by calling 434-4475 x 137.
Pure Eats - With the exposed brick of the original Ice House building, Pure Eats offers a unique space for all types of gatherings. Pure Eats can accommodate your needs - order in advance or when your party arrives or arrange to have donuts waiting for you. For information, call Pure Eats at 540-810-3010.
Ruby's Arcade- Rubys Arcade is a sprawling hangout with Duckpin bowling, pool tables, dart boards, foosball, shuffleboard and more. With wood-fired pizza, in-house smoked meats, a full service bar, and an experienced staff, Rubys arcade is perfect whether your hosting a small 15-person birthday party, a 50-person graduation party, or a 150-person corporate event. Union Station - A loft-like eatery set in a former seed warehouse, Union Station has a private dining room that seats 24 and a banquet room that seats 68. The private room has no charge, but reserving the banquet room costs $250, which includes catering by personal chef and food items not on the regular menu.
